Are you a natural at providing encouragement?

Are you able to be objective while being compassionate?

If so, the industry needs you, it’s time to STEPUP to the plate!

  • Volunteer your time to serve as a mentor for a STEPUP intern for a minimum of one year.
  • Will act as an advisor to interns by providing coaching, feedback, and other support
  • Must work in some capacity in the spirits industry. Training materials will be provided to the mentor.
Eligibility:
  • Passion, willingness, and time guide and coach the intern throughout the internship. No experience required
  • Mentors must have experience in the hospitality and/or spirits industry

Selection

Applications will be reviewed and vetted by the Selection Committee with final selection and invitation from the STEPUP Board of Directors. The timeline is currently under development.

Awards & Reporting

Initially, two applicants per year will matriculate through the program. Growing the number of placements per year will be contingent on donor funding​, with the expectation of supporting 10+ interns per year​.
